Bethune-Cookman Shutdown Norfolk State

NORFOLK, Va. -- Jackie Wilson threw a 7-yard touchdown pass to Keith Stroud early in the third quarter and Bethune-Cookman ended Norfolk State's five-game winning streak, 14-6 Thursday night.

Anthony Jordan had a 2-yard scoring run in the first quarter and Isidore Jackson ran for 206 yards to help the Wildcats (4-3, 2-2 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) win their second straight.

Everett Goldberg kicked two long field goals -- from 50 yards in the second quarter and 47 midway through the fourth -- for Norfolk State (6-2, 4-1).

Wilson, who also ran seven times for 14 yards, finished 8 for 16 passing for 88 yards and two interceptions.

Chris Walley was 14 for 24 for 88 yards and one interception for the Spartans.
