Orlando, FL − The HBCU Information Network (HBCUIn) unveils two new Android applications to assist prospective students in both learning about different Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU's) and also to help curve driving under the influence. Anyone interested in downloading the applications can visit http://www.hbcuin.org/apps.

HBCU prospects, students, and alumni can access school information from anywhere on their Android powered smartphone devices.

Prospective students researching information on what college to attend has become more convenient with the assistance of the HBCUIn flagship application.

Located in the education section of the Web site, HBCUIn is an application that focuses on providing admission, enrollment, and tuition information for HBCU?s nationwide.

Man Down is a lifestyle application that promotes safety. This application is capable of producing an emergency contact group to assist if someone becomes intoxicated.

"Every year there are deaths as a result of Drunk Driving, and with this Android application, we hope we can help keep students safe," says Grover C. Fields, President and Founder of HBCUIn.
